Sample residence card
A residence card is a document issued to a foreigner who has been granted:
A residence card is one way to legalize your stay in Poland. In order to legally stay in Poland, a foreigner must have a residence document, i.e. a visa, a temporary residence permit (residence card) or enjoy visa-free travel (if they are citizens of one of the countries covered by this possibility).
The period of validity of the residence card depends on the basis on which it was issued (According to Article 243(1) of the Law on Foreigners):
You can renew your residence card by submitting an application no later than the last day of your legal stay. Submitting your application on time allows you to stay legally in Poland until the decision is issued.
